I'll update it or remake it and I thoroughly enjoyed making it. The goal of this was to design something 100% myself. I have no design training and that'll be obvious. I'd really encourage anyone to modify it as they see fit.

Now for the dirty dirty....

I printed all of the parts. I glued the auger and chute halves together. The splits made them easier to print. The auger housing gets glued to the bottom of the HOPPAH!!! Sorry, I'll serious up here....

The chute gets glued to the opening on the bottom of the auger housing. The stand is glued to the bottom of the auger housing on the flat part. The auger is inserted in to the auger housing and the cap glued over the opening. The servo / auger adapter is fitted to the servo. I then inserted the servo (a typical 9g continuous rotation one) in tot he servo housing and glued the housing to the back of the auger housing being sure the servo/auger adapter is fit in to the auger end. It'll make more sense when you try it.

Add candy, program an arduino micro 5v, and enjoy wondering why you went to the expense to make this when you can just open the bag and eat the candy.

OH!!!!!!!!! Very important note! I used SweetTart mini chewys as my candy but anything of that general size should work.

Be sure to ask of you have any questions -- I'll post pictures and a video of this in action in the next day or so.

I used a Prusa i3 MK2 printer. I hate supports so I positioned everything for non-support printing. I use 20% or 25% infill and I printed it in PLA. You can use ABS if you want. The servo auger adapter was 100% infill, 50% slower, random alignment, and the thinnest layer possible. I used regular old generic dollar store super glue.

I used Tinkercad to design this. I know it-s pretty lame. Make one better and share it with me!
Category: Gadgets
