My Bubble Clip

UPDATE 6/21/2020: I've smoothed out all sharp edges so they won't cut into your skin. A brand-new version is now available. Although I don't use a cover for my Bubble, I do use tape to secure it in place. However, when cleaning the sticky residue off the bubble with an adhesive remover, it seems to strip away the glue from the two halves of the bubble as well, allowing water to seep inside. To solve this issue, I designed a holder that keeps the bandage (tape) away from the bubble, eliminating the need to remove and clean off sticky residue. This holder features holes for ventilation and drainage. While its effectiveness remains uncertain, it's worth trying out. Printing with TPU material is recommended. This solution will work for both the Bubble and Droplet designs. However, the one that requires a strap has an extremely tight fit. I believe printing this version with flexible TPU material would be ideal. The other design, which doesn't require a strap, simply clips onto the Libre and the Bubble. The Bubble is installed from the bottom, secured by a lip on the top side that prevents it from falling out. To complete this project, you'll also need to print the strap adjusters. A great resource for getting started is available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1777669 UPDATE: I've made some adjustments to the design. The lip holding the Bubble in place has been widened slightly for improved stability. If you plan to sell my design, please give credit where it's due!
