We lost our previous tree topper, and it was time to find a new one. I had my daughters' handprints from another project, so I decided to create an angel tree topper using their handprints for wings. The result turned out fantastic! To build this unique decoration: 1. Print all the parts in ABS filament, which can be welded together with acetone afterwards. 2. Align the wings on the back of the angel and secure them into place by welding them with acetone. 3. Attach the dome to the back of the angel's head, making sure it is flat against the surface and welds securely in place. 4. Connect the ring to the bottom back of the angel, ensuring it is flat against the surface and welds firmly into place. Use a long pen or pencil to guarantee the ring aligns perfectly with the dome. 5. Allow the acetone to dry completely for a strong and reliable weld. 6. Finally, place the tree topper on top of your Christmas tree, guiding the top-most vertical branch through the ring and inside the dome.
