My Anet A8 E3D V6 Mount (Stock Fans)
thingiverse
After trying out several innovative designs on Thingiverse, I finally came up with something that really works. It's a remix of various mounts that I've found to be effective in optimizing my 3D printing setup. By relocating the fan to the side, I was able to increase printing space on the rear of the hotbed. The fan duct now extends below the heat block and blows directly onto the extruded plastic with great effect. This setup is extremely efficient, allowing me to run my fan at a moderate 50-60% speed. After using this configuration for the past six months or so, I decided it was time to share it with the community. I've included the "Prusa i3 Rework X-Carriage" rear mount that I use in conjunction with this design. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please post them in the comments section below. I'd love to see how this setup works for you, so feel free to share a photo if you decide to give it a try. Enjoy!
