My 3D Printer from "Scratches"
thingiverse
I built this massive and incredibly powerful 3D printer at the age of 17. It's an extremely precise machine that can work quickly, and I plan to completely revamp its mechanics in the future by incorporating a humanoid six-axis robot as my printer (I have all the necessary resources). The firmware was written entirely by me, along with the program that controls the machine's movements and interface (I posted a screenshot of it, though I apologize for any Italian text you might see). Feel free to let me know if you like this project. If you're interested in learning more about my printer or are planning to build your own 3D printer from scratch, don't hesitate to ask me anything via private message. Here are some key features of my 3D printer: - A massive printing area measuring 90 x 90 x 90 - High-powered motors that operate at 300V with a torque of 6Nm (controlled by can-open mechanisms) - A custom-written program that controls everything - Advanced spline interpolation for consistent printing speeds Work in Progress: Adding pentic curve interpolation for constant acceleration and torque, as well as other fixes. Note: The attached file is a test print (3DBenchy) using the following settings: Printer: Deus Ex Machina Rafts: Not necessary Supports: None needed Resolution: Far superior to yours Infill: Fully saturated
