This fits in the end of the Mazda NC2 MX5 Sound tube where it attaches to the firewall and significantly reduces the transfer of sound into the cabin. This method leaves all of the sound tube piping intact so that the purge solenoid mounting bracket is still in place. Reverting to stock is simply a matter of removing this plug.
