<p>A 3D printable switch plate holder that prevents the switch plate from bending while inserting switches onto the pcb, making the process a lot easier.</p><p> </p><h4>Variants</h4><p>There are several .stl files of the switch plate holder with different thickness. Choose the file which is appropriate for the thickness of your switch plate.</p><h5>1.5 - 1.6mm Plates (Standard Choice)</h5><ul><li>Use the model with the thickness of 3.0mm.</li><li>If the PCB uses Mill-Max Sockets 7305 then use the model with the thickness of 3.4mm.</li></ul><h5>1.7 - 1.8mm Plates</h5><ul><li>Use the model with the thickness of 2.8mm.</li><li>If the PCB uses Mill-Max Sockets 7305 then use the model with the thickness of 3.2mm.</li></ul><h5>1.9 - 2.0mm Plates</h5><ul><li>Use the model with the thickness of 2.6mm.</li><li>If the PCB uses Mill-Max Sockets 7305 then use the model with the thickness of 3.0mm.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Update</strong>: Upon request I added another model with a longer handle.</p><p> </p><h4>Print Settings</h4><ul><li>Infill: 20% Gyroid</li><li>Perimeters: 2 (can also do 3)</li><li>Layer height: 0.2mm</li><li>Supports: none</li></ul><p> </p><h4>Inspiration</h4><p>I saw the tool being used on a Twitch Stream from Alexotos and was intrigued by it. The shapes are simple enough to be 3D printed so I gave it shot.</p>
