MX-5 NB Window Switch-cover
thingiverse
I used to own a Mazda MX-5 NB. Beautiful little cars, but they have a few major drawbacks. One of those downsides is that the window switches tend to fail internally. Something just wears out over time. You end up with a window that's rolled down, but won't come back up anymore. On the internet, I found this mod where you can use simple 2-pole switches. With some re-wiring, these were perfectly usable as a replacement. However, I was left without a proper cover. So for that, I designed this 'Thing'. I always liked the original idea by revlimiter, but my design worked even better. I chose to skip using mounting bolts and use a small drop of superglue instead. It never came off, but was easily removable when needed.
