MX-5 Hood buddy, lift hook

I recently got an MX-5, lowering the roof is really easy and fast from the driver seat. however raising it again is tricky. it can be done but I wind up contorting myself into uncomfortable position and putting pressure on my shoulder to get it done. So I came up with this simple hook design to give me much easier reach to grab the roof and raise it up enough to be easily shut again. The hook fits nicely down behind passenger seat so it's always easily accessible for quick changes. I made a silly video of me using it: https://youtu.be/rwEl5vlFMBQ I printed the handle and the hook with a hole diameter of 12.5mm which fit a random delrin rod I had to hand. could be adapted to any handy rod. Secured in place with a couple of m5 bolds on the handle (drilled and tapped into the rod) and a couple of through 5 mm rods on the hook end. Could just as easily be glued. it just needs to be strong enough to not come apart when lifting the roof
