A meticulously crafted MWO Thunderboldt at 6mm scale for standard Battletech tabletop play is now available. Careful attention was given to closing up and extruding all meshes to ensure seamless printing without gaps in the model. Although some minor imperfections may persist, they are negligible and do not detract from the overall design. In order to facilitate practical printing, extraneous details were judiciously removed or modified. The antenna, for instance, was omitted due to its propensity to break off during assembly. Conversely, essential features such as the base and engraved unit name on the back face were preserved to maintain authenticity. The loadout is tailored specifically for a TDR-5S, with the exception of two ACs replacing MGs on the left arm – a deliberate choice made due to the diminutive size of MGs at this scale, making them impractical for printing.
