MVP Rover Cart Upgrade Kit #1: Umbrella and Disc Retriever Holders This is a three-part print requiring no assembly (other than sliding the parts into place on the cart). Minimal or no supporters are required. This was designed to be relatively streamlined to the cart’s original shape without adding unnecessary bulk. When used, the disc retriever and umbrella rest alongside the cart’s handle pole. These parts have been field tested on a hilly course. Part 1 - Bottom Mount: This piece is designed to slide onto the MVP Rover Cart’s lowermost pole for the handle. It is designed to also slide over two support bars on the cart adding stability. Part 2 - Middle Mount: This piece is also designed to go on the lowermost post, but it is recommended that it is placed above the “click stop” piece for height control. It should be tight enough that I will remain in place. Part 2 - Top Mount: This piece is designed to fight somewhat tightly (but allows for some motion) on the topmost post for the cart’s handle. It serves as the final stabilizing point for an umbrella. I printed these in PETG with two walls and 15% infill. Those parts worked just fine but were not as sturdy as I would like for longterm use. I would recommend printing in PETG or ABS with 3 walls and 20-40% infill. PLA or PLA+ could work, in theory, but could experience some warping in the heat.
