Our portable mechanical ventilator design is specifically engineered to thrive in low-cost, resource-poor environments where mass usage is a priority. We've developed a system that delivers breaths efficiently by harnessing the power of a conventional bag-valve-mask (BVM) with a precision-crafted rack and geared mechanized arm, thereby eliminating the need for human intervention when operating the BVM. Initially, we prototyped our design using sheet metal and 3D printing techniques, resulting in a compact unit measuring 11.81 x 8.31 x 13.25 inches and weighing approximately 8 pounds.
