The X5M is my latest creation, a light, fast, reliable, and robust X-shaped racing drone. To minimize weight, this frame was engineered to accommodate only FC and ESC in the 20x20 format and nano camera style. Its standout features are: - The weight of the frame including TPU parts and screws is just 61g, with a final weight on the fly (excluding battery and strap) of 265g. - The strap passes through the sandwich without touching the ESC like many other frames. - Interchangeable arms are now standard, but in my project they offer comfort to replace and touch on one side, greatly increasing rigidity. - Standoffs are the same width as the Lumenier chief, allowing you to download the same TPU parts created by the community and print them at home. - Arms are fixed with 3 screws, one of which is part of the 4 screws that support FC and ESC, but being the hole on the arm "slotted" allows you to change arms without touching any screw in the stack. MY SETUP: - RacePit Mini - HobbyWing 40A ESC - TBS Nano 32 VTX - R-XSR Receiver - RunCam Nano - TBS Triumph Pro Micro Antenna - XING 2207 1900KV @ 6S - 51466 Props UPDATE 14/02/2020: - Updated arms with a more solid design. - Updated body with both 30x30 and 20x20 holes. FINAL UPDATE 26/04/20: Modified arm design to improve breaking point and push it far from the motor. Added two different bodies, one for the 2020 stack and one for a standard 3030. Please use only 2020 or 3030 parts to make your frame (the roof is "tetto" in two shapes, as you prefer, but it's the same for 2020 or 3030). Added a custom mount for micro cameras.
