Muzzle mod for hexo mask
prusaprinters

I increased the thickness to increase strength thus improving ability to remove print from build plate without breaking.
Material wise: PLA works best when it comes to ease of removal. ABS gets second place but needs to be spritzed with alcohol and water mixture immediately after print completes and then removed while hot.
I wanted the mouth area to stand away from the lips to increase comfort while talking and improve air circulation, so I made the muzzle stand away by adding bars. I sewed my fabric to these bars to pull the fabric away from the mouth area.
Nose closure is a paper covered metal strip woven into the printed plastic holes. Excess fabric is glued down in two pleats inside the nose area.
Fabric is added by sewing directly through the plastic therefore the suggestion to increase the perimeter settings was ignored to prevent splitting and default values suggested by the Prusa slicer were used instead.

Print instructions

Use suggested Prusa Slicer settings. Remove print while warm. PLA removes easiest from the build plate. Other materials were very difficult to remove. ABS was possible only if removed with alcohol and water spritz immediately after print completes and then print removed immediately. PETG, ASA, and non-Prusa ABS where almost impossible to remove from build plate.
