The construction work affects the section from the Schulgasse railway crossing in Mutters to the road crossing in Raitis neighborhood. The new track alignment deviates from the existing route, which makes a right curve at that point, and instead runs straight for some distance before turning left into another curve. The new track crosses the Mühlbachgraben ditch with the construction of the Mutterer Bridge. After about 222 meters, the new track rejoins the location of the existing track. As a result, at the Fulpmes abutment, the new Mutterer Bridge creates an excavation in the existing terrain. In that area, the new track runs through a concrete trough structure made of steel, which transitions into a support structure to the right of the rail.
