Mutoh XP Series Ball Point Plotter Pen
thingiverse
This is a vintage style longer body plotter pen that can be used on Mutoh XP series, Gerber Embosstrack or Fas track, and possibly other Plotters. Modify a ball point pen by using two ball point pen springs, shortening the ball point stem to fit within the 'reservoir'. You may need to stretch and/or cut the springs for a perfect fit. These plotters use an optical encoding system to identify the tool. I replicated this by printing the tool in black, then adding chrome tape. The tool shown here is tool #3. Search for their specific identification marks to designate it for other locations within the plotter carousel. The cap (if printed) should be printed in TPU/Flexible material. It's uncertain whether it would work or fit if printed in PLA. The Tip and Reservoir Screw together, holding the pen in place using internal stops for the two springs.
