The "Mutant Brush" is a creative spatial structure featuring digitally fabricated nodes made from laser-cut MDF sheets, with bars assembled using broom sticks. Ideal for personalizing urban spaces or private outdoor areas, the design was created through teamwork and tutored by Areti Nikolopoulou and Jose Perez de Lama at Madrid's "The Commons Factory :: Plug Ins at Santa Ana" workshop in October 2010. Though site-specific, the design possesses a generic versatility. Cutting files for MDF sheets are available for laser cutting, with nodes designed to accommodate varying bar connections. Currently, Mutant Brush is in beta phase and further developments will be shared.
