M12 x 1.75 threads. The picture shows a black ABS component sanded to a high shine using progressively finer grits, starting at 320 and working up to 1500. To achieve this finish, I used a threaded insert and attached the other end to my drill. Soon, I'll be sharing that tool with you. Sanding with just 320 grit and then vapor-smoothing with acetone could make this process even smoother with better results. I'm planning to try that method on another handle.
