I added a mustache to my Calgara PRIMO glasses by attaching it with print-in-place chains that fit snugly on my face. To get the perfect fit, I resized the model to match my facial structure. Print Settings: Printer: FolgerTech Kossel 2020 Rafts: No rafts were needed for this project. Supports: Yes, I added supports to ensure the arms stayed intact during printing. Resolution: The print resolution was set at 0.25 mm. Infill: The infill percentage was maxed out at 100% for optimal strength. Notes: The frame required minimal support and care when separating the chain links. However, the arms needed additional support to prevent breakage during printing. Post-Printing: Attaching the Arms to the Frame I overcame the challenge of printing tiny pins by using paperclips as a makeshift solution to attach the arms to the frame, ensuring a secure connection.
