I created these dice for myself and my students. Each face on the D12 features a unique musical key, while the D4 boasts a diverse array of basic chord qualities (major, minor, diminished, and augmented). Meanwhile, the D6 presents distinct seventh chord qualities (major, minor, dominant, diminished, half-diminished, and major-minor). When practicing seventh chords, roll both the D12 and D6 then play F#7 (assuming this comes up). The D12 is an invaluable tool for creating chord progressions in different keys or as a creative device to generate new ideas.
