Music Stand Sheet Extender
thingiverse
I got tired of sheet music spilling off the edge of my music stand, forcing me to stop playing and reposition the sheets to see what's next. This ingenious design lets me view four pages of music without making any adjustments whatsoever. A 2.43 mm brass welding rod is used to craft the scroll, giving it a sturdy yet elegant feel. Each sheet simply slides onto the horizontal 12 mm wide bar of the stand, making it incredibly easy to switch between pieces. For those who want to make changes or fine-tune their design, I've included the OpenScad program for your convenience. While I do enjoy using my iPad's scrolling app for music, there's still something special about having paper in front of me - the ability to jot down notes and mark up the score as needed is a feature that digital apps just can't replicate.
