Music stand pint-glass holder

Performing in jazz clubs has its perks, but one of them stands out above the rest: savoring a cold beer right on stage! You can imagine what's not so great about enjoying a beer on the bandstand - when that pesky trombone comes crashing down and knocks over your drink! So, how do you prevent that from happening? The answer is simple: print this nifty pint-glass holder and attach it to your music stand. That way, your beer will be safe and secure. You can find the most up-to-date files for this project in my github repository. Once you've printed out the holder, there are a few steps to follow before it's ready to use. After printing (which is actually done upside down), cut two pieces of bike inner-tube and glue them onto the surfaces that come into contact with the stand shaft. This will give your beer holder some much-needed stability. Next, you'll need to find an 8-32 socket-head bolt (or one that's roughly the same size). Tap a hole through the main body of the holder so it can accept the bolt. Finally, attach the clip to the holder with the bolt. When you put the beer holder on your music stand, make sure the clip is facing downwards. Its job is to keep the holder from tipping over when you lift the glass out.
