I made a design of a music stand light / sconce. The back has space to place a 9v battery and a hole to run the wiring through. The 9v battery has lasted for 24 hours with a 220mm LED strip. The back has space for rare earth magnets that are 8mm x 3mm thick. I found it only needs two magnets and it is way strong enough but I had already made the design before I put the magnets in.
