You can place the player anywhere inside the bottom of the box. The light sensor is a bit more complicated. You have to cut the wires and feed them through the hole in the middle of the shelf. Then glue the sensor in place on the top and reconnect the wires.The feet snap into place on the bottom but I still recommend gluing them in place.I also glued the shelf in place. I like that it's more secure but if the player stops working it will be difficult to access.
