Mushroom - Basic Toadstool

Mushroom - Basic Toadstool

As a mushroom enthusiast, I decided to create a printable fungus model that's not edible. It consists of two parts - base and stem, and the cap which comes in two variations, with the second one featuring improved gills. The caps can also be used as finals due to their compatibility with the build-a-wand interlock mechanism. To print these models, I used the default settings in Makerware. Although both parts can be printed simultaneously, it takes a considerable amount of time (around 20 hours) and increases the chances of errors. Therefore, printing them separately allows for different colors to be used. However, if you decide to print at a smaller size, ensure that both cap and base are scaled proportionally. Moreover, due to the intricate interlock design, avoid printing at a too small scale; a 70% scale has worked well with other objects using this interlock.
