Museum and Monument Peta is located in Bogor, Indonesia. The building that serves as this museum was constructed in 1745 by the British military with a European (English) architectural style. In 1943, the building was used as a training center for local troops (although still under Japanese control). The construction of the Museum PETA began on November 14, 1993, with the laying of the first stone by Vice President RI and YAPETA elder Umar Wirahadikusumah. Construction took approximately two years and was inaugurated by President RI Soeharto on December 18, 1995.
