The Great North Museum: Hancock in Newcastle safeguards a collection of prehistoric carved rocks that have a rich history dating back to the early days of human civilization. Originally housed at the Museum of Antiquities, these artifacts were meticulously cataloged by the Beckensall Archive (BA) and later integrated into ERA by NADRAP in 2008. This ensemble includes four significant pieces: Ellingham A, a remarkable example that can be accessed online at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=1852. A detailed model of the carved surface, which provides invaluable insights into the craftsmanship and techniques employed by our ancient ancestors, is available for viewing at https://skfb.ly/6TLCD. Dod Law Excavation Site Object 26, a significant archaeological find that has contributed significantly to our understanding of prehistoric life, can be found online at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=1847. Dod Law Excavation Site Object 31, another crucial discovery that has shed light on the daily lives of our ancient forebears, is accessible at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=1849. The high-resolution imagery used to create these models was captured by the NADRAP Team 2 in May 2006. The photographs were taken by David Tuck, David Jones, Caroline & Ken Allott and form part of the comprehensive NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England and Northumberland County Council.
