These ancient portable stones, carefully carved by prehistoric hands, are preserved at the Great North Museum: Hancock in Newcastle. Originally housed within the Museum of Antiquities, they were documented on the Beckensall Archive (BA) before being added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. The collection comprises: Museum of Antiquities Unprovenanced Rock 4 Museum of Antiquities Unprovenanced Rock 7 Museum of Antiquities Unprovenanced Rock 8 Museum of Antiquities Unprovenanced Rock 9 Blueburn Farm Ellingham D Fowberry Moor Portable Gled Law 9 Wooler Cottage Several digital models are connected to ERA records and feature detailed carvings on the surface. These models were created from stereo pairs captured by David Tuck, David Jones, Caroline & Ken Allott (NADRAP Team 2) in May 2006. The images form part of a comprehensive NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England and Northumberland County Council.
