This is the Museum's third room, centered on the majesty of the sea. The dramatic setting within is home to artifacts plucked from the ocean floor in Baratti, including Etruscan relics and Roman amphoras that once held wine and olive oil. Stone anchors and lead stocks also take pride of place alongside a lava-rock grinding stone, a testament to the ingenuity of ancient civilizations. The room's design is the work of architects Agostino Carpo and Erica Foggi, whose creative vision has brought this underwater world to life for visitors to explore.
