I created this project as an excuse to build something custom and save a bit of money by repurposing a Muse SA-50 T-Amp Digital audio amp board that I purchased from eBay. The board, shown above, came from here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221851679894 - just search for the listing. Instructions are straightforward: print one of each STL file and two small knobs. I printed in ABS with a layer height of .21 mm at 20% infill using a 0.35mm nozzle. The 3mm screws will self-tap, so no extra drilling is required. ABS is recommended for this project as it produces minimal or no cleaning needs. For best results, a well-calibrated printer is essential. To customize the volume, bass, and treble knobs, I heated an old pot with a torch to around 550 degrees Fahrenheit until grooves formed. Banana connectors came in handy for speaker connections, and I had to source nuts for the pots since they weren't included. This project was printed on a MendelMax 1.5.
