Murriel, The Shrewerrel

This is my entry for the "Jonah Lobe's Tiny Creature Challenge". The concept behind this creature was to combine the features of the Black and Rufous Elephant Shrew with those of the Malabar Giant Squirrel. The Shrewerrel, pronounced as "Sh-rew-uh-rrel", is a hostile creature typically found in tropical coastal regions worldwide. Its diet consists mainly of berries and other soft fruits. Although it may initially appear cute, the Shrewerrel is actually a very unpleasant and rude animal. If you approach its food source, it will become agitated and emit a noise similar to "Blowing Raspberries". Due to work commitments, I didn't have much time to refine this project. However, I hope everyone enjoys it despite its rough edges. Keeping the model under 1k polys was a significant challenge, as the original sculpt grossly underestimated what 1k polys truly represent. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience, and I hope it makes Jonah proud. The character has a total of 991 faces. All textures, except for the ground texture, were created by me and are 512x512 pixels in size.
