A fortified town located at the foothills of the Aragonese Pyrenees, in the Sobrarbe comarca of Huesca, Spain. Dating back to the 11th century, it responds to the needs of repopulation and consolidation of territories reconquered by the Kings of Pamplona from the Taifa of Zaragoza.
