Murkelcopter - quad copter frame

thingiverse

This birch plywood quadrocopter frame can be manufactured using a 3-axis CNC mill or laser cutter. Designed in XMAS 2010 and tested successfully by 20 builders, it is called "Murkelcopter" after the whimsical name given by the designer's daughter. To assemble, dry fit the parts, then apply thin superglue at locking points. The design accommodates 2mm plywood; for laser cutting, use a 1mm diameter tool. Sanding before assembly may be beneficial. Share your laser-cut results!
