In this 1932-built Stadio Michele Bianchi, now known as Stadio Oreste Granillo, Reggio Calabria's only stadium for years, numerous renovations have been made. The grandstand was covered in the '60s, and the Curva Nord, today's home to Reggina fans, was built in the '80s. Demolished in 1997, it re-emerged two years later as the new Stadio Oreste Granillo on the same site where its predecessor stood for nearly 70 years. Located 1.8 km from Reggio Calabria Centrale station, it's accessible by taking via Barlaam to Calopinace bridge, then via Galileo Galilei.
