Munchkin - Custom Nameplate
thingiverse
This is a custom Munchkin nameplate made in Tinkercad. Open up this file in Tinkercad: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/8qaxMGaJq6F Click the object and then ungroup. Click out, then click just the name. In the dialog box on the left, drag the .svg file from this project into the "picture" box so that the custom font uploads (it's taken from the font Quasimodo if my .svg file doesn't work). Then change the text in the Text box to whatever name you'd like. Depending on your name you might need to change the type size or placement of your text, so nudge it accordingly. You can nudge left, right, up, or down, but don't nudge it inwards or outwards. Then do the same for the name on the otherside. Then group everything and export the .stl. Print at highest quality possible, and don't do supports for the section in the middle (supports are fine for the wide edges that stick out). This was easy in Cura. If you're not sure how to block supports, just give it a Youtube search to see how. Then clean up the print with light sanding and use a paint pen to paint the names.
