Munchkin Box Card Holder V3 Beta

Munchkin Box Card Holder V3 Beta

I had a brilliant idea from Jadon that since the V2 print already removed the outer walls, I could also remove the bottom. The box has a built-in bottom, so why not? I thought this was pure genius, so I quickly created an example of what this would look like for my printer. This cut off between 4 and 5 hours from the print time when sliced in Cura. I added some support between the finger holes to keep everything together and made it a bit taller to account for the missing bottom. **UPDATE** I haven't actually printed this, so I don't know if the 4mm support is enough to hold it all together (that's why this is still in beta). If you print this, please leave a comment or post a make so others will know if it works. Jadon also suggested that I could honeycomb the sides to use even less material and time. That sounds like an advanced move for me, but maybe I'll try adding it before moving this out of Beta. Maybe I'll give OpenSCAD a shot... **UPDATE #1** I uploaded a honeycombed version, and Cura says it can print in 6 hours and 30 minutes - that's down over 2/3 from the original version! Now we just have to see if it has enough structural integrity. For a tried-and-true Munchkin Box Holder (though slower to print), try V2.
