This board features multiple serial interfaces alongside a dedicated I2C port, allowing for direct GPS plug-in and extra ports for external devices. The new ATmega 2560 boasts more IO pins to read PWM signals from receivers and control ESCs without software intervention. A MicroUSB port is also present, eliminating the need for an additional FTDI USB interface. The motion sensing side incorporates a MPU6050 Gyro/Accelerometer sensor by InvenSense and a 3-axis magnetometer and barometer with 0.01 millibar resolution. The GPS functionality can be easily added with a 10Hz module.
