I created this tool because I've had trouble plugging holes, keeping plugs in place, and retrieving them. So, I designed a printable plug that could solve these issues. Although I haven't tried it yet, I believe it should work flawlessly. From a technical standpoint, the dimensions are identical to those found inside standard housings. However, I made them 12-sided to ensure they burnish as you insert them, creating a tight fit. If needed, I'll update the file to make the shape smoother and smaller for easier retrieval. To use this plug effectively, print it with Intraoral safe resin like SG (Surgical Guide). Additionally, applying vaseline to the outside could be beneficial.
