Multitool - Hand Clip Aid

Hello all, I've been working on a system that would allow people with disabilities, those who lack mobility in their fingers and hands, to use everyday life tools like pens and cutlery without having to ask someone else for help. This multitool should be universal and can be attached to a hand without having to grip it with your fingers. Moreover, this multitool should be able to accept an infinite number of tools. For the tools to be practical to use, they should be easily attachable/detachable without any dexterity, and should be orientable in several directions. That's why I arrived at this design. The main goal is to have it used with maximum autonomy by people who have a disability so that they do not have to rely on someone else for their daily actions. I started by designing what I call "quick connectors," which use powerful magnets (6.4 kg) to be connected one to the other. These connectors are used in pairs, with a male connector and a female connector. Their respective cranks allow for precise 45-degree orientation so that they can be blocked in a certain direction. These quick connectors can be adapted to almost any type of tool, which offers the possibility of designing an instrument that can be used with this system for any application. I then designed the hand clip system from clips already available on the market and online for 3D printing. The main drawback of existing systems is that they are generally not flexible in terms of applications because they use classical clamping methods to secure the tools. As a result, tools are difficult to orient in different directions, and these systems often require the action of a third person to fix the tool, which makes disabled people dependent on their presence and will. Thanks to quick connectors, tools can be connected to the Multitool at a short distance without having to hold or grasp them. Another advantage of magnets is that tools and the Multitool can be easily stored on any metal surface, including wheelchairs, or on any metal plate in a bedroom. Finally, I designed two initial tools: one for using a pen, and another for utensils. I posted some videos on YouTube on how to use the Multitool and these tools. My dream is to see new tools developed by the 3D printing community for this system using quick connectors. For that reason, I am also attaching the file of male quick connectors in .IGES and .STEP format for modification. Do not hesitate to share your creations with me! Magnetic: To be able to use the Multitool, you must purchase magnetic discs of 20x5 mm. These cost generally less than $1 per piece and are easily found on the internet.
