I created laser cut templates for roughly 1:300 scale buildings that can be used in a wide range of settings, from Soviet-era structures and WW2 landmarks to sci-fi cities. These generic building designs are perfect for a Godzilla game I'm working on. The DXF file contains four main template types: one three-story rectangular building, one four-story rectangular building, one five-story rectangular building, and one four-story L-shaped building. Each design features random roof shapes and alternate front doors with windows, all set within a 600 x 400mm area. You may need to cut the insides from another sheet of material. To add extra detail to your buildings, I've included various roof elements that can be used as inserts. You can also use infill sheets if you want to create a more solid structure. I personally used mirrored perspex for my builds, but tin foil is a budget-friendly alternative if you can't afford the real thing. These templates are designed to work with 3mm Ply, 3mm MDF, or 3mm Perspex materials. The L-shaped buildings require an extra support to hold the inserts in place on the concave face. I hope this explanation is clear and helpful. Now it's time to get creative and have fun building your miniature cities!
