multirotor motor mount with landing gear
thingiverse
Check out this new motor mount with landing gear! It's designed for use with 13mm wood booms, specifically inspired by and made for the Batbone air frame from flitetest.com. The design accommodates NTM type motors, but can be modified to fit others. Additionally, it features a landing gear component that is compatible with my tricopter tail pivot and the Batbone from flitetest.com (with the center cross-brace removed). In V2, there are now only 1 hole in the boom compared to the previous version. To assemble, use 2.5mm zip ties and a lexan plate measuring 25x67mm with a thickness of 2.4mm. Mark the hole locations on the lexan using the "motor mount frt" as a jig. Motor shaft hole size is 4.5mm, while all other holes measure 3mm.
