I upgraded the motor mount from pwnas, found at thingiverse.com/pwnas, to include extra support for added strength. This design is made specifically for 10 mm wooden booms and features an inner dimension of 10.2 mm to account for some shrinkage. This particular thing has been replaced by a reinforced motor mount with built-in landing gear for use with 1.25 mm (0.5") wooden dowels. The current version I'm using is available at thingiverse.com/thing:1048647 and it's really fun to work with.
