This tricopter frame features motor mounts and landing gear designed for Home Depot's 15.5mm square towel rack. The original design has been remixed multiple times to improve strength and aesthetics, as well as to accommodate various motor sizes and user preferences. Key specs include a weight of 580g with all printed parts, a width of 490mm, a length of 400mm, and a diagonal of 630mm. The height is adjustable at either 105mm or 145mm, depending on leg length, while ground clearance can also be customized at 60mm or 120mm. The maximum take-off weight (AUW) with various components installed is approximately 1620g. The remixes include shmorgan's stronger and more visually appealing design, as well as leg options from another Thingiverse user. OpenSCAD source files are provided for easy editing and customization. Additional features include a center top platform with integrated battery strap mounts, a 120mm leg option with optional cut-out, front and rear body mounts, a FatShark TVL600 mount, a vertical mount for the Immersion RC's FatShark FPV 600mw Transmitter, LED legs for added visibility, larger battery straps on the center, and a 45mm x 45mm gimbal mount platform option. The recommended print settings for Replicator 2 are 20-100% infill, 4 shells, and .20mm layer height for motor mounts; 100% infill, 4 shells, and .20mm layer height for legs and platforms; and 30% infill, 5 shells, and .20mm layer height for the gimbal mount. The designer suggests using orange, blue, white, and silver PLA to avoid potential solar heating.
