Multiple Sizes Rubber band strap

Multiple Sizes Rubber band strap

I needed a yoga mat strap that could be adjusted without using a buckle or buying special strap material, so I came up with this idea for a thin 3D printed strap that uses rubber bands for support. The flexible PLA parts can be used together to create a great strap when paired with common household items like rubber bands. The cap that holds the two parts of the strap together is threaded, making it easy to assemble. This design allows me to print it without supports and get a fairly short print time. There are three sizes available as well as a connector piece that can be used to add additional length. Two small parts combined measure 12cm + 12cm with a 2cm overlap for a total length of 22cm, two medium parts measure 16cm + 16cm with a 2cm overlap for a total length of 30cm, and two large parts measure 20cm + 20cm with a 2cm overlap for a total length of 38cm. The connector piece is 20cm long and can be placed in the middle of two other parts to extend its length further. You can also mix and match different sized parts to get more specific lengths you need.
