Multiple Regression - Plane and Lines by Y
sketchfab
Multiple regression is demonstrated using a regression plane to forecast Z (vertical) from X (red axis) and Y (blue axis). Four regression lines are also shown, each predicting Z (vertical) from X (red axis) for different values of Y (blue axis). A note on the illustration: the lines and plane are not actual least squares regressions, but rather approximate representations used solely for demonstration purposes. This example, along with others in this series, serves as a test bed for ideas. Future versions will be more comprehensive, incorporating annotations to provide further insight.
