I'd love to rewrite that. Road trip time is always a blast - and who doesn't adore hitting the open road by yourself, you know, like the lone wolf or the lone free spirit, with nothing but your own thoughts as company. No noise pollution of crowded cities to spoil your fun, no long waits at busy airports for planes taking off or landing all day. Just peaceful driving pleasure in an old car that takes up some nostalgia with its rumbling motor and wobbly steering, like my old beat-up Road Master station wagon, a real classic, just waiting to go on an epic road adventure across this big beautiful America of ours, full of mysteries to discover, scenic views, wild nature parks to explore, weird little roadside diners and eccentric characters at each rest stop you make along the way.
