If you appreciate my designs, consider buying me a beer, (donate) and following me. This is a plastic replacement shell for a multimeter probe. I crafted an innovative solution using a nail - first checking its resistance wasn't too high - which I soldered to a cable that was then inserted inside the probe. Next, I used a 3D pen to weld it together. To ensure everything fit snugly, I needed to widen those grooves slightly. You can also repurpose this metal piece from an old broken probe or get creative with your own materials. Remember to disconnect the multimeter's battery or detach its cable before soldering - just in case. You have two options for assembling the halves: glue them together or use a Dremel or 3D pen for welding. I've added version 2, which may require scaling. Whoa! That much interest in something so basic and straightforward? I thought no one would actually need it that much.
