This is a set of calibration towers designed specifically for testing multimaterial print settings. It's crucial to strike the perfect balance when it comes to purging material on a multimaterial print job. Too much purge results in wasted material and extended print times, while too little purge leads to unsightly color bleeding. These calibration towers allow you to test your purge settings for up to five different materials at once. For each material, the tower prints 5mm of a single material, followed by 5mm alternating between that material and another material, and finally 5mm of the new material. This straightforward approach makes it easy to identify any color bleeding when switching between materials. For towers featuring more than two materials, the segments are repeated so that every possible pair of materials is thoroughly tested.
