MultiHex - Adjustable Pocket Hex Wrench
thingiverse
After watching a YouTube video about an adjustable pocket hex wrench called "Ti EDC Wrench" (https://bigidesign.com/products/ti-edc-wrench), I decided to try making something similar out of plastic. Since plastic isn't as strong as metal, several design changes were needed. This is the fifth iteration, and I'm uploading it here, but I'll likely make more revisions if any issues arise after using it for a while. The MultiHex consists of four separate parts: A screw A slider Top holder Bottom holder Note that the two holders are not identical, so you cannot print two of the top ones and expect them to work together. The screw fits inside the slider, which in turn fits inside the two holders. The holders have pegs that fit into each other. To assemble the MultiHex, close the two holders around the screw and slider, then apply a small amount of super glue along the edges to add strength. Be careful not to add too much glue, or you'll end up with a single-size hex wrench instead.
