Multifunctional Geometric Bookends
myminifactory
This set of bookends was designed as an entry to the selfCAD and MyMiniFactory competition within the category of interior design. These modern and elegant geometric bookends have numerous purposes and can be used with or without the inserts! The containers are cut in half so that it appears the other section is concealed within the books. The bookends are primarily intended to be used as pots for houseplants, and the insert with drainage holes can be removed when watering the plants to allow for ideal drainage. If you choose to use these as planters, it is recommended to first line the bottom of the insert with newspaper to prevent excessive soil loss. Additionally, the bookends can be utilized as a vase; the insert can be removed and reversed and the holes may be used to organize a stunning arrangement of flowers and varying natural elements. Furthermore, they can simply be used to organize small objects such as pens, pencils, or bookmarks, with or without the insert. With the insert, the holes may be used to organize writing utensils of various types. Designed and uploaded with www.selfcad.com #selfcad #sculp-with-selfcad
